The Ron Claire Fair

Who remembers the Twinkie eating contest last summer at the Ron Claire Fair?  The face painting?  How about the obstacle courses  and bounce houses for the kids?  The many booths offering goods and services from a variety of different people and organizations?

The Ron Claire Fair is more than just these things... it's an afternoon where we are able to come together as a community.  The success of this fair is due in large part to the amazing efforts of Mona Lisa Wald.

Mona started the Ron Claire fair through a desire to see her community become a better place. Talking with many businesses and individuals face to face, she was able to attract a wide variety of exhibitors to the fair, which has run successfully two years in a row.

The fair has become too large of an effort for just one person to handle, especially now that Mona has returned to school to pursue her master's degree.

Exhibitors have already been asking about the fair for this summer, and much of what needs to be done can be put into place without too much effort.

Help is needed to continue this fair... Is anyone willing to invest a little time and effort and help keep this fair going?
